Me... just me
After graduating from college, I worked as an analyst in a Chinese company and a consultant in a Singapore-based consultancy firm before going into full-time translation. As a Chinese Singaporean, I grew up in a bilingual environment. English is my first and predominant language. In my 15 years of education, I studied with English as the medium of instruction. I use the language at work and in my everyday life now. I have near-native proficiency in Chinese, as this is the language I use at home. All of these come together to give me a formidable edge as a Chinese-English translator.
As a dedicated, detail-oriented professional translator who provides quality work while respecting deadlines, I work closely with my clients in a cooperation that is characterised by mutual respect, teamwork and trust. All translation work is completed by me. I do not act as an agency or sub-contract my jobs to other translators. As a professional Chinese-English translator, I am obliged to maintain strict confidentiality regarding all matters and information concerning my clients and their business relationships and customers. This obligation extends expressly beyond the completion of each translation assignment. A Non-disclosure Statement and/or a Certificate of Translation will be provided upon request.
